The Prince’s Trust – Inspiring young lives
The Prince’s Trust helps change the lives of disadvantaged young people in the UK. We work with 13-30 year-olds who have struggled at school, have been in care, are long-term unemployed or have been in trouble with the law.
We help young people gain the skills and confidence they need to get into work or training, giving them the chance to realise their potential no matter what their background. Did you know?
- The number of unemployed young people in the UK is now almost twice the population of Manchester
- Youth unemployment costs the UK £10m a day in lost productivity
- More than three in four young people helped by The Prince’s Trust move into work or training
- The Prince of Wales’s charity has helped more than 650,000 young people since 1976 and supports 100 more each working day
