Louboutin creations in store for men

Luxury shoe designer Christian Louboutin has announced that he will open his first London men's boutique in November.

Following the footsteps of Christopher Bailey and Gucci, Louboutin is set to capitalise on the growing menswear market in the UK, by opening a standalone menswear store.

Until recently, the self-proclaimed prodigal son of luxury footwear, catered solely for the female form, however with high-end shoe connoisseurs like Jimmy Choo and Manolo Blahnik debuting their own men’s lines, Louboutin was sure to follow suit.

Located in stylish Dover Street, situated in-between the APC and Acne stores and just along from Dover Street Market the 1,290-square-foot space will offer the widest selection of Louboutin's men's shoes and bags available in the UK. Expect to see a vast array of styles, from loafers to boots, all capped with Louboutin’s signature embellishments of spikes, studs and tassels.

The London store follows the success of the standalone menswear stores opened by Louboutin in Paris and in New York’s trendy meatpacking district earlier this year.
