Karl Lagerfeld times it right

The latest from fashion royalty Karl Lagerfeld - the man behind luxury brand Chanel - is a new collection of luxury watches, which leaves us wondering what sector of the fashion world hasn’t this man conquered.

Produced with Texan based company Fossil Inc., the collection will include seven core styles that overall exhibit a truly innovative design. The watch’s most distinguishing feature is the Karl Zip, which gives the watch an eccentric function, enabling the accessory to transform into several widths. Models are available with stainless steel bracelets, metallic leathers, pyramid-shaped studs and bold chains with the designer’s signature profile featured on the crown in genuine, extravagant fashion.

The new collection will be timed for release at Paris Fashion Week a/w2013, strategically synchronised with the opening of the first Karl Lagerfeld store in the famous Rive Gauche shopping destination of St-Germaine.

The collection is a long way away from Chanel’s elegant and effeminate style, but it encompasses everything that is expected of his new label World of Karl, which launches at the opening of his concept store.
